Steal in free roam sandbox neighborhoods. As far as i know there is a diffrence in the controllers from quest and rift so that might be what steam can't figure outĪ lot of people play this way. Virtual Desktop might be different since information is passed through third party software, but I don't see why anyone would still use that now over the completely free and superior Air Link. If you are playing on the Quest via Link or Air Link, then as far as Steam is concerned it's just a regular Oculus device, which all behave identical in the Oculus SDK. You can read more about this version of the game here: Thief Simulator VR Quest is developed by 3R Games (not our production). I'm talking about a full native version - no cables. The good news is there is a Thief Simulator in development for Oculus Quest. We try to fix possible problems with using the Oculus Quest like this with each update, but there are so many hardware configurations that we are not able to fix everything. Depending on whether you are using Virtual Desktop, Oculus Link, or some other ways to use Oculus Quest on PC - the result will not always be the same. The problem with this headset is that it can behave differently for each player. Information about the headsets the game runs on is available on Steam. The game was developed when this headset was not yet popular. Thief Simulator VR is not officially made for Oculus Quest.
